Mid-Term Report Card / Mid-Year Academic Evaluation
Dear Parents,
As of January 31, 2012, your children—students of our Arnold Ipolyi Elementary School with Hungarian Instructional Language—will receive a student evaluation record instead of a traditional mid-term report card. This record is not an official public document; its purpose is to inform the legal guardians of minor students about their academic performance in individual subjects. The discontinuation of issuing mid-term report cards is regulated by Section 55, Paragraph 10 of Act No. 245/2008 Coll. on Upbringing and Education (the School Act) and on amendments and supplements to certain acts, as amended by subsequent regulations.
In accordance with the law, this evaluation record is not a public document, does not bear the school stamp, and does not require the signature of the school’s statutory representative, the principal. If the school principal determines a specific format for the verbal evaluation or classification, that format becomes binding for the respective school.
If you, as a legal guardian, prefer to receive a standard report card, you may submit a written request to the school administration.
Application for the Issuance of a Mid-Term Report Card
A formal report card will be issued to all children on the final day of the school year, which will include the grades and evaluations for both academic performance and conduct across both terms of the respective school year.
