In the electronic application form, once the parent enters the child’s personal identification number, the system automatically imports the parents’ data. If not, the data must be entered manually (precisely according to the identity card, paying careful attention to diacritics, accents, the -ová suffix, etc.).
Other Important Information
If you wish for your child, who reaches the age of 6 by 08/31/2026, to remain in kindergarten for an additional year, under the amendment to the Education Act, the legal representative must request this at the kindergarten. However, even in this case, the child must be enrolled in the school, and it must be indicated on the electronic application form that they continue to attend kindergarten! (It may be necessary to attach the decision of the kindergarten principal as an enclosure!)
A child who does not reach the age of six by August 31 (inclusive) of the given calendar year may be exceptionally admitted to basic education. As an enclosure to the school application, the consenting opinion of the CPP (Center of Counseling and Prevention) and the expert opinion of the pediatrician must be attached.
Must be enrolled in the school again.
Enclosures
According to Section 144a, Paragraph 1 of the Slovak Education Act, submissions regarding upbringing and education decided upon in administrative proceedings – including the application form – require the signatures of both legal representatives of the child. Consent given in electronic form upon submitting the application (statutory declaration) is also considered a signature, which must be ticked/marked in the electronic application form.
If you do not tick/mark it, the system will not allow you to proceed further with the application form or permit its submission. In such cases, uploading enclosures is required. Enclosures are necessary if:
- the application form is signed by only one parent (legal representative) because the other legal representative has been deprived of parental rights, this fact must be proven with an uncertified copy of the court decision; obtaining the consent of the other parent encounters a barrier difficult to overcome (e.g., they have no contact with the child), this can be proven by a statutory declaration of the legal representative submitting the application, according to Enclosure No. 4;
- or the legal representatives have agreed that the application form will be signed by only one of them, and they submit a written declaration of this fact according to Enclosure No. 5.
If the child has any health disadvantage, this must be indicated, briefly described, and the expert opinion of the CPP (Center of Counseling and Prevention) must be attached as an enclosure (if such an opinion is not yet available, a confirmation in any form showing that its procurement is in progress must be provided).
Decisions regarding admission will be delivered to the email addresses provided in the application form. At the end of the electronic application form, there will be a green plant icon with a checkbox. If you wish to receive the decision by mail in printed form, please tick/mark this checkbox.

The evaluation of the enrollment, the potential rectification of deficiencies, meeting the first-grade class teacher, and the collection of school bags will take place on 04/28/2026 starting at 15:00 (in the presence of both parent and child).
